One of the best thing about Christmas mini sessions is getting to see how excited the little ones are! It is all so magical for them…it makes it magical for us, the grown-ups, too.

This little guy had never been out and about…this was HIS FIRST TIME in a park!! His eyes weren’t big enough to take it all in! He was looking at everything and everywhere!! I think that we managed to capture some adorable moments.

Wedding - Candie & Ted
With a name like Candie, you’re bound to have the sweetest photos. Your wedding day could be filled with nothing other than the happiest laughter, the most heartfelt hugs, genuine joy, and the tenderest smiles. Love coated in sugary sweet kisses and drizzled with the happiest tears. Cheers to all of that and then some more…♥.
Wedding Vibes
Is it terrible that I just want to put a little bit of love out in the world today? Because that’s what I’m about to do. ♥ Extra points if you can find the “dinglehopper” photo…and double points if you can tell me which Disney movie has a princess who uses a dinglehopper! (Yep, this wedding had a subtle “Under the Sea” theme.)

I love the name Elle…it is soft and sweet, douce et belle. Remembering a special little girl during her birthday month! Happy birthday, Elle…I remember when we did this session. How quickly time has gone by! Those tiny, perfect, little details…♥

Love is a curious thing. It makes us leave our comfort zone and dive into things that we would avoid otherwise. Love lasts forever, but time is finite. Be bold, don’t ever hold back. Love today like it is all you will ever have, like you don’t know what tomorrow will bring, because the truth is that we don’t know. We only know that love is always worth it.

Love is full of intrigue. It is much like what you see in a photo. It has bright, vibrant highlights coupled with deep, dark shadows. When I look through my lens at love, this is what I see. It is dramatic. It is beautiful. What do you see?
A Little Pick Me Up

Charlie Brown and the Peanuts
This couple has a story. They met on campus, fell in love, traveled to Australia and lived there for a few years working on their careers and are now back in the States! We decided to have our own homecoming football game. I’m terrible at football lingo, but I know this…I LOVE THE PEANUTS GANG! Turns out, they love them, too! Spot the Charlie Brown sequence and enjoy a laugh or two at Walt‘s (playing the role of Charlie Brown ☺) expense. Sorry, Walt!!! Tabitha added a dash of sweetness and kisses throughout the session to make up for those bumps and bruises. ♥
You Should See Me in a Crown
First of all, I am a sucker for a beautiful dress. I never get tired of looking at these elegant dresses, sophisticated, sultry little things that look like a bit of perfection. Now, I’d never be brave enough to wear a crown but, if I was…it would be this one. It was perfect. Paired with this beautiful, black svelte gown…I’m sold! Fit for royalty. One crown, a queen and a princess. Yes, add a princess into the gilded frame. All hail the royals!
Vintage always gets me.
I love vintage; I’m a sucker for it. It beckons us to a time of classic beauty and allure. I know that people say timeless and maybe you think that is cliché but…it is timeless! When Sophie and Dan told me that they wanted to do an intimate engagement session with a pretty lacy dress and a suit, I was psyched. Dancing with your sweetheart amidst the tall oaks, the dangling moss…swoon-worthy! I’d take that moment with the guy I love any day. Hope that you enjoy all of the vintage feels that this little peek has to offer!

Celebrating Moments & Memories
Life is full. It’s stuffed with all sorts of moments, some good and some bad. I know that we must embrace the bad ones so that we can weather the storms, but doesn’t that mean that we should celebrate the good ones? Maybe that’s what makes what I do as a photographer so fortunate…I’m privy to those happy moments, those celebrations. These moments worth celebrating come in all shapes and sizes, some are adorned with extravagance and others with simple grace. How lucky for me that I get to see it all. Cheers to celebrating our milestones, our accomplishments, our lives and our love.
Events by Juana ... Marvel vs. DC
I really enjoy doing these vendor set up sessions. I get to see witness these creations, these atmospheres being born of assortments of things pulled from every corner. I walk in the room and I always greet Juana the same way…my jaw has dropped and I can’t help it…over and over again, I keep saying “wow”. I have a vast vocabulary but it doesn’t always pull through. Maybe the best word really is WOW. Especially for this one because I LOVE COMICS!!!! I DO, DO, I DO! I LOVE MARVEL! Iron Man is my favorite, I wasn’t thrilled when he died or how End Game turned out, I don’t like Captain Marvel (sorry, y’all), I love Guardians of the Galaxy, and in case you were wondering, if I had to be someone, I would be Nightcrawler. I know that he’s Excalibur and not X-Men, but he is awesome and has been my favorite since I was old enough to watch the cartoon on Saturday mornings. My brother collected the trading cards and the comic books…I read them all. Anywho, I digress. Check out this amazing set up…Marvel or DC, guys? Me…I’m a Marvel chick. (Spoiler…I ADORE CATWOMAN!!! LOL.)
